In August 1978 I took a trip to Italy. Going through my vast archives of black and white negatives I came across of these almost forgotten treasures I took during my stay in Bolsena in Tuscany then.
In those days I used a Canon AE-1 and mostly Ilford films. Now I scanned them into my PC and did some restoring work, because some of the pictures had suffered over the years. Looking at these more than 34 years old photos for me has something special. I hope you can enjoy them as well.
I just added some photos to my Black & White series. It's anazing how even landscapes suddenly show up in a quite different atmosphere. It's always the balance between the two extremes BLACK and WHITE and a thousand shades of GREY that gives the final touch to all these pictures.
Since I found out what great and funny things this little camera of my mobile phone is able to do and Italy presents itself again in the most beautiful colours, I decided to present a series of the best shots I'll take during my short stay here.
Just have a look and enjoy..(just click on the photo)...
